The Shelby County Economic and Industrial Development Authority (SCEIDA) is a legislatively-authorized granting authority for all industrial development abatements, bonds, and incentives in unincorporated Shelby County, Alabama. Board members are appointed by the Shelby County Commission and are listed below. The authority meets as needed and with guidance from 58 INC. SCEIDA will meet for the purposes of (a) ratifying the election of the officers of the Authority; (b) authorizing bonded indebtedness of the Authority incurred for the benefit of Hilltop Montessori School, Inc., and (c) approving minutes of the February 2026 meeting.
